General travel terms
The ticket is individual, not transferable and only valid for the trip, route and location issued.
Ticket purchase can take place in the following ways:
– From the offices of “CORINTH JOINT VENTURES”
– through this web site with immediate issue / printing or ticket delivery via e-mail
– From Associate General Tourism Offices or Nautical Agencies
– via the call center
No passenger ticket and proof of carriage to the ship are permitted.
Cancel an Electronic Ticket
Ticket cancellations are possible up to one hour before the check-in date and time of departure.
Specifically, depending on the date / time when the request for cancellation was made, the following will apply:
- For cancellations up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure date of the ship, 75% of the fare is returned.
- For cancellations up to 1 hour before the scheduled time of departure, 50% of the fare is returned.
- Cancellations made less than 1 hour from the scheduled time of departure of the ship will not be refunded.
The time of cancellation request is the time when the special cancellation code is posted to the system and sent to the person’s email.
The electronic ticket cancellation process is only online and the ticketing agencies are not involved. All refunds are made on the credit / debit card that made the payment. Refunds are made within 5 business days.
Recording of Surveys
According to the Directive 98/41 of the European Union, as incorporated into Greek law by p. 23/1999, as amended and applicable, for each passenger ship departing from Greek ports and making a voyage more than 20 miles from the point of departure, the following information shall be recorded: the surname of the passenger, the name or initial letter, the sheet, the age or the indication of the age class as well as any information voluntarily provided by the person about the specific care or assistance that may be needed.
The passenger is required to check the correctness of the information on the ticket (date, time, route, ship, identity, etc.) during the online reservation and / or issue of the ticket and not to receive it in the event of an incorrect entry.
It is forbidden to transfer the ticket without the approval of the carrier or the ticket issuer.
Passengers are required to provide their exact contact details, telephone number and e-mail address when electronically booking or issuing the ticket, for the sole purpose of informing the carrier in the event of delay, cancellation or cancellation of the ferry service. In the event that the passenger does not wish to disclose any contact information, that information shall be recorded in writing by the issuer in the ESCTHEE system.
In the case of an online reservation, the passenger completes his contact details in the relevant online form or completes the option “I do not wish to be informed in the event of delay, cancellation or cancellation of the service”.
Fares – Discounts
Passenger tickets and vehicle receipts show the gross fare, which includes the net fare, the extra charges (charges, deductions) and VAT.
The categories of persons entitled to a discount on fares are listed in detail in HS 3324.1 / 01/13 of 15/7/2013), as amended and in force. The passenger must inform when making the reservation and before issuing the ticket if he / she is entitled to a fare discount by showing the necessary supporting documents.
Children up to 5 years of age travel free of charge and it is essential to book and issue a zero fare ticket.
The passenger is obliged:
– arriving at the ship half an hour before the scheduled time of departure.
-to bring the vehicle into the waiting waiting area 1 hour before departure.
-to display his ticket and the necessary supporting documents if he has a reduced fare ticket at check-in and check-out and occupy the corresponding seat or bed listed on it.
-not stay in the vehicle spaces. Drivers are excluded from the entry and exit of vehicles from ships.
In the case of a person with a disability or reduced mobility, he informs the ticket issuer or the carrier that he / she needs assistance no later than forty-eight (48) hours before the assistance is provided and is at a predetermined point at a specific time, sixty (60) minutes before the scheduled time of departure of the ship. In addition, when booking, notify the carrier of its specific accommodation, seat or service requirements or the need to carry medical equipment with him.
If a passenger with a ticket does not arrive in time (up to scheduled time of departure), he / she is not entitled to a refund of the ticket he has paid.
Within the consortium of vessels the routes are routed by the vessels “ANO HORA II”, “AGIA THEODORA”, “NIKOLAOS”, “CORFU EXPRESS”, “ALKINOOS”, “CORFU” and “MENEKRATIS”. The passenger is entitled to carry hand luggage weighing up to 50 kg without paying a special fare. Persons with reduced mobility are entitled, without paying a special fare, to carry, in addition to their cabin baggage, any equipment or aid required for their independent movement, irrespective of their weight.
If the luggage is handed over for safekeeping and the relevant proof is issued, the carrier is liable for any damage or loss of baggage on board.
In case of loss of ticket or proof of transport of the vehicle, the passenger will have to buy a new ticket to travel. If the passenger declares the loss in writing, indicating the date of the trip, the route, the number of both the lost and the new ticket, and if the consortium records show that the lost ticket was not used and was not replaced within six (6) months from the date of travel, the passenger is entitled to a new ticket of equal value to the lost.
The passenger ships of the Consortium have specially designed spaces for the accommodation of pet animals carried by passengers on whom the pets remain obligatory throughout the journey. Exceptionally small pets are allowed to accompany their owners in the passenger compartments if they are transported in special baskets / cages or have a gyroplane and are vaccinated.
Safety on the Ship
The passenger is obliged:
-to comply with the instructions of the ship’s officers relating to the ship’s quiet, orderly, cleanliness and safety.
-to comply with the ship’s regulations and the instructions of the master or ship’s personnel.
-not transport explosive, flammable, incendiary and generally hazardous materials.
-Do not dispose of waste on ship’s premises or at sea
-to place bulky luggage or items in special areas so as not to hinder the passage of passengers in the corridors of the ship.
-not place luggage or items on seats or passenger seats.
It is clarified that onboard ships are forbidden to remain in open deck spaces during voyage.
Change of Ticket / Return Ticket
The passenger is entitled to change his ticket if seats are available for the same or another trip on the same starting point and destination, up to twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled departure of the ship. Changes to the destination If the value of the new ticket is lower, the passenger is not entitled to the refund.
The return or modification of the ticket by the passenger shall be made to the issuer thereof or to a port designated by the carrier as a maritime agent authorized in accordance with the applicable provisions to issue passenger tickets and transport receipts for that ship.
Complaints – Complaints
For each complaint or complaint during the voyage, passengers may contact the ship’s designated officer and after the end of their journey to the issuer of the ticket or to the Consortium or to the port authorities in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Cases of non-application of passenger requirements
No requirement may be established for the delay, interruption, cancellation or modification of a route due to public order or security reasons, in particular due to adverse weather conditions, the application of provisions of the law or mandates of the Competent Authority in general, ships or persons at risk or for any authorized modification of the scheduled services related to the provision of emergency services or to the service of the public interest.
